Tillhörde Liberala samlingspartiet genom en sammanslagning av bl. a Folkpartiet. 1923 splittrades saml.partiet p.g.a spritförbudsfrågan. 1924 namnändring till Uppsala liberala förening tack vare den liberala synen på spritförbudsfrågan som innebar att stå emot totalförbud. Ingick 1934 i Folkpartiets Uppsala avdelning tillsammans med Uppsala Frisinnade Medborgarförening.
